Description: This course provides exposure to the issues and practices related to environmental science and management. Speakers this quarter are primarily faculty from ESR and related programs.

Assignments: A passing grade requires.

  • Attendance of a minimal of 8 seminars during the quarter, 4 of which must be ESR seminars.A minimum of one written question for the speaker, submitted during each of the ESR seminars
    attended
    (Your name, date, question).
    Submission of a typed list of seminars attended, including name of the speaker, title of the talk, location and date, and a question for each, by the last week of the quarter.

    Show respect for the seminar speakers by not arriving late and leaving early.

    Notes: This course is intended for ESR majors. Students enrolled in ESR 407/507/607 should regularly check the seminar announcement bulletin board outside rooms 218 and 246 SB2 or this web site.
