The Portland State University student chapter of the American Institute of Hydrology was formed in 1999.The purposes of our student chapter are:
  • To provide a forum for academic, professional, and social interaction among students,
  • Faculties, and other members of the Portland State University community in the fields of
  • hydrologic sciences (broadly defined) and water resources management.
  • To provide opportunities for educational and professional development of its members through seminars, field trips, and other activities.
  • To promote awareness and educate the Portland State University community abouthydrologic and water resource issues.
  • To promote the objectives of the American Institute of Hydrology.
Strean near Portland, OR. We invite students at PSU to become members of our student chapter. The constitution of this chapter describes the PSU-AIH member's rights, and responsabilities.

On March 14, our student chapter, hosted a panel discussion on the Portland Harbor Superfund.
