
The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences offers the M.S.T. degree in Science/Environmental Science. The M.S.T. program in Science/Environmental Science is offered jointly by the Environmental Sciences and Resources program and the Center for Science Education.
1. Required Courses:
The Three ESR Core Courses
AND: ESR 570, Environmental Education, 3 credits
ESR 509 Environmental Education Practicum, 1 credit
ESR 507 Environmental Seminar (1 credit per quarter, 2 credit minimum)
(Seminars are given by graduate students and visiting researchers. Masters students will typically earn 1 credit for each quarter of attendance.)
SCI 507 Graduate Student Seminar (1 credit per quarter, 1 credit minimum)
2. Quantitative Analysis
Should be a course appropriate for student's masters project
(ESR 566: Environmental Data Analysis)
3. Electives
- Science
- Prefix BI, CHEM, ESR, PHYS, GEOL, approved GEOG and by arrangement SCI or ESR, for a total of 12 credits.
- Education
- Three Education courses, from School of Education and Center for Science Education, as approved by your advisor.
4. Master's Project: at least 6 credits of ESR 506
